My deepest sympathy to Barbara’s family. Barbara was the sweetest, most kindest special lady. I worked with her at Thomas Jefferson & have fond memories of her. Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers. 😢🙏

All of us who knew Barb well loved her greatly.

Barbara was a quiet gentle soul, who made a genuine difference in the lives of many. Modest and unassuming, she was generous almost to a fault, placing the needs of others above her own. She gave to benefit others in life, and in death.

Barb's spirit gave us lessons in grace and behavior as she led by her quiet example. She had several difficult challenges in life, but the way in which she faced and accepted them with grace, composure, good spirit, and without complaint illustrate her courage and bravery.

Barbara was also a woman of faith. Though characteristically, she was quiet about that.

I feel that, at this difficult time, she is probably holding all of us "in the Light" now. She would want to see that all of us are ok, and that we are all taken care of.

She was quite a lady!
